WORTHY CHARGE bobbled at the break, recovered to duel from the two path and then three path with MOMENTUM FILES early on widening away as a pair from the rest before easing off to prompt that rival midway down the backstretch, had the field take closer order, and went three wide through the far turn advancing to take command with five-sixteenths to go, spun three wide into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive and was kept busy to the finish. CHILLAX stumbled at the start, took to the rail and impeded LIMO forcing that rival to check off his heels just after the break, raced along the inside and tipped out and was forced to steady with six and a half furlongs to go, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled four to five wide into upper stretch, ran on to chase the winner home well clear of the rest and along second best. ROGER ROGER stumbled at the start and was bumped by PEAK PERFORMER due to pressure from PARTY WITH SMARTY, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and improved position to the end. MOMENTUM FILES struck the near side stall at the start, established the front shortly after and dueled with WORTHY CHARGE to his outside widening away from the rest to the midway point on the backstretch when WORTHY CHARGE eased off a bit, took a little breather and had the field take closer order half a mile from home, came under urging near the five-sixteenths under challenge and yielded the front at that station, took the inside route into upper stretch and weakened in the drive. PEAK PERFORMER broke out at the start and came together with PARTY WITH SMARTY, who broke inwards and was bounced around between foes when initiating contact with ROGER ROGER, chased four then three wide through the first turn and then six paths off the rail down the backstretch, steadily tucked to be four wide heading into the far turn, went four then three wide through that bend under a ride from the half mile pole, angled seven wide at the top of the stretch and tired. LIMO broke a half a beat slow, then got checked off the heels of CHILLAX heading into the bend with seven and a half furlongs to run, chased along the inside and then just off the inside coming under encouragement at the seven-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch and made no impact. FUN TO TAP bobbled at the start, chased three then two wide before tucking inside through the far turn, came under urging three furlongs out, took the inside route into upper stretch and tired. PARTY WITH SMARTY broke in at the start and came together with PEAK PERFORMER and bounced that foe around briefly in tandem with ROGER ROGER, raced three wide through the first turn and then four then three wide down the backstretch before tucking to the two path into the far turn, came under motivation with seven-sixteenths to run, spun two to three wide at the head of the stretch and faltered.
