Footnotes
MY NOBLE KNIGHT brushed the outside of the gate at the start, dropped from the five path to the two path early on the first turn, was well placed behind the leading duo down the backstretch, drafted in the two path on the far turn while full of run, shifted to the four path while asked into upper stretch, came in just inside the three-sixteenths pole then bumped the hindquarters of the runner-up lightly while making a bid, took over outside the furlong marker then shook clear under a right-handed crop, was given one final pop of the crop outside the sixteenth-pole then widened while eased up late. PINEAPPLE MAN was hustled from the gate, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the first turn, showed the way while inside of a foe, vied in the two then three path while asked on the far turn, was bumped in the hindquarters just inside the three-sixteenths pole then lost the advantage and proved no match for the winner but held the place while tired late then was reported to have bled. UNLIMITEDPOTENTIAL broke out at the start, raced in the four then three path on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside, was asked in the three then four path on the far turn, dropped back in the five path into the stretch then moved inward and capitulated. QUIET WISDOM was hustled from the gate, dropped from the two path to the rail early on the first turn, climbed into kickback some late on that bend then dropped back, settled well off the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, rounded the far turn in the two path, swung out to the six path into upper stretch and failed to threaten. PHILHARMONIC stumbled bad at the start, saved ground near the rear of the field and was no factor.
