Footnotes
PANDEMIC HERO pressed the pace on the far outside, took the advantage with about a half-mile to run, moved clear coming to the seven-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the two path, responded well when asked at the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker and held under steady urging. OUT OF THE FOG was well placed in third position, went around most of the turn in the two path then shifted to the three path while asked some, was roused in the four path into the stretch and finished willingly to just get the place. PAZZ THE SOY SAUCE was hustled to the front and led early, lost the advantage to the winner near the half-mile pole, chased while moving from the rail to the three path on the turn, pursued the winner under a drive in the stretch and proved no match then lost the place while able to get the show. ORIE brushed with a rival just after the start, was urged along off the pace, shifted from the two path to the four path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path, held a reasonable striking position into the final furlong but lacked the needed kick. CADA DIA MEJOR settled off the pace, moved closer while saving ground on the turn, was roused near the quarter-pole and failed to rally. KLIMT MASTER brushed the inside of the gate at the start and had the rider lose his left iron, saw the rider reach down with his hand and get his boot back in the iron after going about a sixteenth of a mile, came under urging while well off the pace, saved ground for most of the turn then moved to the two path and failed to threaten. ARMENIAN DANCER stumbled at the start then brushed with a foe, dropped well behind the rest of the field under urging, traveled around the turn in the two path and was eased but walked off. DEAD AIM was urged along on the far outside, went around the turn in the four then five path and faltered then was also eased but walked off.
