QUIET STREET got pinched at the start, settled two to three wide at the tail of the field, got let out spinning six then five wide into upper stretch, closed well benefiting from a shying out leader and was just up in the final jumps to prevail. LIT SHIP chased four then three paths off the inside down the backstretch before heading five wide through the turn advancing past rivals into contention swinging five then four wide into upper stretch lugging in straightened away and brushing with DELIGHTFUL DARLING, seized command at the three-sixteenths, came under a left handed crop and shied out two paths a furlong out, then went back to the left handed crop being flashed it and shied out three paths more, got corrected now in a head to head battle for command and was nailed on the wire. DELIGHTFUL DARLING broke in at the start pinching out QUIET STREET against BINT MISCHIEF, pressed the pace of R P BYRNE from the outside in the three path, took over narrow command near the quarter pole, continued three wide into upper stretch, got brushed straightened away before being displaced from command, then kept on to salvage the show honors.
