STILL A SOLDIER lunged at the break, chased along the inside coming under encouragement at the three-eighths pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, rallied to take command just inside the eighth pole, edged clear to the finish kept to task. GOTTA GUY paused when bumped between foes at the start, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths marker, went seven wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly to secure the place honors. DARK VECTOR coaxed from the gate, cut the pace along the inside and then just off the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, yielded the front straightened away, fought on to inside the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. TRUE CONNECTION three wide in aim of the leader, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths and advanced on the front, swung five wide for home taking command straightened away, dug in under threat from a pair and yielded inside the eighth pole, then weakened in the late going. ULTIMATE STRIKE got bumped at the start in a chain of bumps begun by DARK MAGIC, raced four then three wide through the first turn and then five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide through the far turn, went four to five wide at the top of the stretch and improved position to the finish. LANDAUER got bumped at the start by DARK MAGIC and in turn bumped GOTTA GUY into ULTIMATE STRIKE when squeezing out ALWAYS BE SMART, chased along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, made no impact. ALWAYS BE SMART got steadied when squeezed out at the start in a chain of bumps due to pressure from DARK MAGIC, raced four then three wide through the first turn before heading six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide into the far turn and came under urging at the seven-sixteenths, swung six then five wide into upper stretch and made no impact. BURN RUBBER coaxed from the gate, raced four then three wide in aim of the top pair, went four to five wide through the far turn ridden along and faded, swung six wide into upper stretch, faltered in the drive. DARK MAGIC broke out at the start and stumbled bumping LANDAUER into GOTTA GUY which squeezed out ALWAYS BE SMART when GOTTA GUY bumped ULTIMATE STRIKE, raced just off the inside through the first turn and then four to five paths off the rail down the backstretch, came under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, went seven to eight wide into upper stretch and was eased home to the wire.
