Footnotes
LEVITATING broke out at the start, established a good position just off the pace, drafted in the two path on the turn, was asked in the four path at the top of the stretch then dropped in a path while finding an open seam, rallied to the lead just inside the furlong marker and drew away under strong urging to prove much the best. TOMORROW'S WISH went to the front and led early, lost the advantage outside the eleven-sixteenths pole then stalked the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, made a bid in the three path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path while on even terms for the lead then drifted out, battled with two foes under a drive into the final furlong and narrowly earned the place while no match for the winner. PREPOSITION tracked the pace on the far outside, was asked in the four path on the turn, made a bid in the five path into the stretch, battled outside under a drive while narrowly in front into the final furlong and also proved no match for the winner but just missed the place while narrowly able to get the show. SEEKER'S HOPE broke out and bumped with an opponent then was hustled, settled at the rear, was urged along in the three path for most of the turn then dropped to the two path, gained under a drive in the three path into upper stretch and improved position for the last spot in the superfecta. NANTZ veered out at the start then was corrected by the rider and hustled, was urged along off the pace, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the seven path, moved further out in the drive and lacked the needed response. NICE TRY RILEY was bumped at the start and forced out, raced just off the pace in a good position, dropped back while inside for most of the turn then shifted to the three path under urging, spun into the stretch in the six path, moved further out in the drive and weakened. STANLEY CAT showed speed then took the lead outside the eleven-sixteenths pole, vied in the two path on the turn, was roused outside the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage into the stretch and faded. ROCK CONCERT was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, raced on the far outside under urging, lugged out under extra left-rein pressure while in the five then six path on the turn, drifted inward in upper stretch and failed to respond.
