ASSERTIVENESS raced three wide in pursuit from mid pack, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, tipped three to four wide into upper stretch, seized command straightened away and edged clear under a drive to prevail. MIDDLE MARKET settled two to three wide at the tail of the field, came under encouragement with seven-sixteenths to go, spun three wide into upper stretch, closed well and was just up in the final jumps to secure the place honors. READY SET TWIRL grew a bit rank early on off the heels of a rival under restraint and was guided briefly three to four paths off the rail before tucking quickly to the inside into the turn, chased along the inside and then just off the inside coming under urging three furlongs out, angled four wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. LANDMAN FRIDAY got away to an awkward beginning, chased three wide from near the rear of the field, came under coaxing at the three-eighths pole, went seven wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the wire.
