POKER JOKER was allowed to settle and saved ground, boxed nearing the quarter pole and waited patiently, angled out nearing the furlong marker and split rivals by the furlong marker and edged away under mild urging. BOMB CYCLONE stalked the pace and made a two wide bid in hand to vie for command by the quarter pole, gained a short lead off the turn but could not hold off the winner in the final sixteenth while holding on to the place award. AXCEL was well rated along the inside and made a inside bid leaving the turn but needed more while just missing the place award. ADIOS BUCCANEER was rated along two to three wide and ranged up three wide leaving the turn to loom boldly by the furlong marker but flattened out. ESCAPE KEY was reserved early, made a three to four wide move by the quarter pole to loom off the turn but faded in the final furlong. ADMIRAL'S WAVE was settled back three wide, advanced three to four wide on the turn and swung out seven wide leaving the turn but had no serious rally. INTOLERABLE was reserved early, advanced two to three wide on the turn and was in between rivals nearing the quarter pole but faded in the drive. NOBLE STAR was bumped at the break and settled back early but had no rally. HENDRICKSON set the pace on the inside and was headed by the quarter pole and weakened. ATTRAYANT was reserved on the inside and never threatened.
