ZIP CODE ENVY showed good speed away from the start, assumed early command then was engaged by TOP LOOK and disputed the moderate pace outside that rival, contested the pace to the turn, shook free into upper stretch, kept to task under firm urging through the lane, drew away into the final sixteenth and was hand urged to the finish. WHEELINGNDEALING chased the moderate early pace from between runners, was well placed while two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, ran evenly to mid-stretch while in pursuit of ZIP CODE ENVY, was no match for the winner into the final sixteenth and was a clear second best. TOP LOOK hard sent leaving the start, engaged with ZIP CODE ENVY in the early stages and disputed the moderate pace inside of that rival, pressed the pace to the quarter marker, lost position into upper stretch, weakened through the lane and was clear in the end for third. BAND SWEETHEART broke out at the start and was a step slow to begin, allowed to settle in the early stages, saved ground to the turn, gained nearing the quarter marker and chased into upper stretch, ran evenly to the furlong marker and could not muster a late response. SHE'S A JOY tracked the moderate early pace from outside of rivals, chased four wide to the turn, drifted five wide into upper stretch, failed to respond in the stretch drive and did not threaten late. GET THE LEAD OUT raced close up to the decent early pace, chased three wide and between rivals into the turn, lost ground nearing the quarter marker, could not keep pace into upper stretch and gave way in the drive.
