SANDPIPER MEMORIES raced two wide off the pace, advanced three wide on the turn, rallied three wide past the furlong marker, charged to the front at the sixteenth pole and drew clear under urging. OSCAR GAZE raced off the pace inside, advanced on the turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied outside and was up late for second. NUMERIC vied between rivals for the lead, dueled two wide on the turn, dug in gamely to midstretch and weakened late. QUEEN OF CHILL vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, dug in on the rail in the stretch run and weakened in the final sixteenth. BURN THE BREEZE broke a bit awkwardly, vied three wide for the lead, chased on the turn and gave way. VELOCISSIMA tracked the leaders racing close up early on the inside, chased on the turn and gave way.
