Footnotes
VOLKERT set a pressured pace on the inside, shook clear by the quarter pole and came two wide off the bend, dug in gamely by the furlong marker and held on winning the bob to prove best under a drive. WOKE UP IN LOVE stalked the early pace from the outside, advanced four wide on the turn, made a three wide bid leaving the turn and was gradually gaining and just missed losing the head bob. AUGER bumped with JOHN'S PROMISE at the break, settled towards the inside, advanced two to three wide on the turn, swung out five wide leaving the turn and closed well. BAR DOWN EXPRESS was well placed early two wide then was boxed by the quarter pole towards the inside, came two wide off the bend and then looked to the inside to make a rail bid by the furlong marker but needed more late and lost the show award on the wire. DR. PERRY was reserved early, three to four wide on the turn, came six wide into the lane and had a late rally. DESANTIS pressed the pace two to three wide on the turn and came four wide into the lane while weakening. JOHN'S PROMISE was bumped at the break, tracked the pace on the inside and weakened. PRACTICAL WAY was rated early on the outside, four to five wide on the turn and weakened.
