Footnotes
ANGELAS PARTY GIRL pushed from the gate to get early position, took the lead going around the first turn then maintained an open, uncontested lead to the half mile pole, opened up through the far turn, was never threatened at any point then was set down passing the three-sixteenths, widened the margin down the lane and won under a mild hand ride. GRANDMA'S PUDDING hustled from the gate, was briefly on par with ANGELA'S PARTY GIRL through the first turn then tracked behind that rival to the half mile pole, was unable to keep up with that one through the far turn under a drive, continued the chase down the lane, settled for second best with quite a distance back to the third horse. HOLIDAY JAZZ was off a beat slow then settled on the rail through the first turn and down the backstretch, came off the rail on the far turn, launched a rally under a stiff drive, came five wide into the stretch and continued the run in the center of the course to improve. MURUMBI came away well from the gate was having to be coaxed to keep up, settled into tracking position while behind the top two, held to the far turn while under a drive, then finished evenly in the stretch and was passed for minor award. FABULOUS CANDY got caught five wide into the first turn then remained outside of the pack down the backstretch, dropped down the the three path for the run through the far turn then ran on some late under heavy pressure was unable to make an impact. SWEET NOLA showed good speed from the break and was up on the early pace three wide through the clubhouse turn, dropped back and settled at the rear of the pack between horses to the half, tried to launch in mild rally from the half mile pole but flattened out in the stretch. BACHELORETTE settled behind the scramble into the first turn then raced mid pack on the rail down the backstretch, started to lose ground the three-eights pole and struggled to maintain contact from that point.
