JENAS MERCY broke out and made some contact with FUTURE FORTUNE, then lacked any early speed and settled at the rear of the field through the early stages, circled the field around the turn then was even with the leaders at the top of the stretch, drew off under a steady hand ride and intermittent urging to win clear. HUGE G broke slowly then rushed up to join the leaders by the five furlong pole, held to the inside but became boxed in halfway through the turn, came under a ride approaching the quarter pole, took advantage of an opening along the rail, responded when asked and finished well under steady handling and left-handed urging to gain second in the late stages. FINAL NOTE broke sharply and pulled the rider to the front, led the field through the turn and into the stretch battled in upper stretch then gave way before the final furlong and was kept to tasked to hold third. FUTURE FORTUNE raced mid-pack through the early stages, was stuck behind horses through the turn, got clear in upper stretch and was able to improve. PIZZICATO raced five wide down the backstretch chasing the early pace then moved out four wide on the turn, pulled even with the leaders passing the quarter pole loomed in upper stretch but could not sustain the bid and finished evenly. LUNA AMARILLA raced four to five wide in the second flight early then cane under ride from the three furlong pole, had to wait for room on the turn, steadied briefly in upper stretch. lost momentum, went seven wide in the clear to set up a rally but could not recover. GAMBI raced towards the inside while having to be coaxed to keep up through the early stages, came under a stiff ride from the half mile pole, finished evenly saving ground and was not able to improve. NOUVEAU RICHE stalked four wide behind the early pace battle, became boxed in through the turn, angled out five wide into the stretch and flattened out. CHACHITA broke well then stalked the pacesetter under a bit of a hold through the early stages, went to after the lead in earnest passing the three furlong pole, loomed in upper stretch then faltered. WOMANS PEROGATIVE broke well then was briefly up with the leaders, dropped back steadily through the field before going a furlong and was not persevered with in the late stages when hopelessly behind.
