Footnotes
BUNNY HOP came away well and gained the early lead without being pushed, went slightly clear passing the five furlong marker with a host of pursuers to the outside, fended off their bids at the quarter pole, opened up a bit in the stretch, then held clear under steady handling and right handed urging to prevail. CATHERINE WHEEL was between horses contesting the early pace, was sent after the lead approaching the quarter pole, chased, but could not get to the winner and just saved the place. FACTORBELLA settled in the middle of the pack while about six wide, bid four wide through the turn and finished well under strong handling and urging to gain and hold the third spot. HERE'S THE KICKER chased the pace battle five to six wide down the backstretch then started to advance through the turn while in a drive, kept on under a strong hand ride and was gaining in the late stages. JUST MERCY was outrun after the break and lost contact with the main pack in the initial stages, regained contact with the rest on the turn, was kept to task in the stretch and was able to improve. GORGEOUS GIRL raced between horses as part of the scramble for the early lead, was still prominent approaching the quarter pole then had trouble changing leads in the stretch and flattened out. NURSEKRINGLEDANCES devoid of speed and dropped far behind early, tried to rally through the turn while still far behind the rest, came five wide into the stretch and managed to pass one before the wire. ATALANTA ALEXANDRA raced close up on the inside, struggled to keep up from the three-furlong pole, was under heavy pressure but tired in the stretch.
