FLASH FROZEN a step slow away from the start, settled two to three wide into the first turn, tracked between runners along the backstretch, roused four to five wide along the second turn, loomed into the stretch then vied for the lead at the furlong grounds, battled EMMETT to the final sixteenth, fought gamely to deep stretch and won the nod on the wire to prevail. EMMETT never far back, tracked the early pace while saving ground into the backstretch, well placed nearing the far turn, tipped two wide into the stretch then met the bid of FLASH FROZEN approaching the furlong marker, battled gamely while inside of that runner to the final sixteenth and just missed for the win, while well clear of the rest for the place. OZZY settled off of the early pace then was rank while in tight into the first turn, still a bit hard to place into the backstretch, saved ground into the second turn then waited for racing room at the quarter marker, could not match strides with the top pair into the final sixteenth, ran on and held well late for third. MAKOA settled while saving ground to the first turn, unhurried through the backstretch, swung widest for the stretch drive, needed more into the lane and passed tiring rivals late. SINETIC assumed early command and showed the way to the first turn, set decent fractions while clear through the backstretch, came under pressure at the quarter marker, was overtaken into the stretch then faded in the final furlong. FLAMINGPROPOSITION close up while outside of rivals early on, tracked three wide to the first turn, was well placed while tracking to the half-mile pole, got caught in tight into the second turn then steadied at the quarter marker, could not keep pace into the stretch then tired in the drive. SAMMY'S A GIVINE prominent while between runners away from the start, stalked the pace to the first turn then tracked the decent pace into the backstretch, chased two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, was outrun into the lane, faltered in the final furlong then was transported off of the track via equine ambulance. AN OBJECTION WAS LODGED BY THE RIDER OF FLAMINGPROPOSITION AGAINST THE RIDER OF FLASH FROZEN. THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED AND THE STEWARDS RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
