DIAL HIM UP was settled early in the four path, made a four wide bid nearing the quarter pole and moved in leaving the quarter pole to be two wide into the lane, then drifted in slightly leaving the furlong marker while taking over and drawing clear, then was kept to mild crop urging to prove best. JAMESTOWN was rated along in the three path, then was in the two path entering the far turn, then was in tight nearing the quarter pole and came three wide off the bend and finished well to gain the place award. GRAN YACO was well placed along the inside, tipped out two wide leaving the turn and finished willingly but was out-kicked for the place award. POLAR BEAR PLUNGE chased the early pace in between rivals, shuffled back to the back of the field, two wide on the far turn and swung out four wide leaving the turn and had a belated rally. MAXIMATCH vied for the lead on the inside and then went on to set a pressured pace on the inside, then was headed leaving the turn and steadied by the furlong marker and weakened. ROSE VIEW was settled early on the outside, and had a wide pursuit and was four wide on the far turn, steadied nearing the quarter pole and came six wide into the lane and had no rally. HASN'T HAD ENOUGH vied for the early lead on the outside, then pressed the pace and was two to three wide on the far turn, steadied by the quarter pole and weakened. ROUGH AND ROWDY was fractious in the gate, rider stepped off and the gated opened and was declared a non starter. Walked off. STEWARDS INQUIRY concerning the start, after reviewing the replays the number seven ROUGH AND ROWDY was declared a non starter. JOCKEY on number three MAXIMATCH and the number eight JAMESTOWN filed OBJECTIONS against the winner but both OBJECTIONS were not allowed,
