STYLE ME ROYAL prompted the early pace from the outside, then went up to vie for command two wide, made a two wide bid on the turn to shake clear by the quarter pole and then drew off in the lane to prove best under a drive. VENEZUELAN TRIUMPH checked on the inside into the first turn nearing the seven eights marker, then settled in the two path on the backstretch and was keen to run on, checked again by the seven sixteenths marker and then moved out five wide nearing the quarter pole, came five wide off the bend and moved in the finished willingly to be clearly second best, brutal trip. HABERDASHERY set a pressured pace on the inside, then pressed the winner by the half mile marker, then was shuffled back by the quarter pole, tipped out two wide leaving the turn and faded while staying on to best the rest. YONO tracked the early pace on the inside, shuffled back on the backstretch and on the far turn, moved out and came four wide into the lane, angled in leaving the three sixteenths and improved late. LEAD OFF broke in the air at the start, then was four to five wide pursuit on the backstretch, five wide on the far turn and came six wide into the lane and weakened. INBOUND tracked the pace three to four wide and weakened. HEY PADRE tracked the pace and made a three wide bid by the quarter pole but tired in the lane. SARGEANT BARGER was settled early and had an outside pursuit down the backstretch, made a four wide bid on the far turn and came five wide into the lane but tired in the drive. The number two LEAD OFF OBJECTED against the number one VENEZUELAN TRIUMPH for alleged interference around the quarter pole, after the STEWARDS reviewed the replays the OBJECTION was disallowed.
