Footnotes
CUPID'S DUDE set the pace in the two path to the inside, turned back a bid nearing the quarter pole and shook clear leaving the turn and widened the margin to prove best under a drive. FROSTY THE SOLDIER was well placed on the inside and cut the corner leaving th turn, tipped out two wide when straightened and kept on for the place award. CATATUMBO tracked the pace on the outside and was three to four wide on the turn but had no kick in the lane while besting the rest. BREAK THE ICE was rated between rivals, continued to be in between rivals on the far turn in the two path and weakened in the drive. DUNE ROAD was allowed to settle early two wide, two to three path on the turn and angled out in the lane and improved position. GREYZER stalked the pace three wide and made a two wide bid by the quarter pole and weakened in the lane. VENEZUELAN TRIUMPH was settled back early, shifted to the outside entering the backstretch, five wide on the far turn and was not a threat. MISSION KEY checked into the first turn, settled three to four wide and tired.
