OWEN ALMIGHTY set the pace on the inside under a good hold, well handled throughout and came two wide off the bend to kicked away under a few left handed pops with the crop then remained well clear the last sixteenths under vigorous hand urging to the wire. CHANCER MCPATRICK was well rated along the inside, cut the corner leaving the turn and then moved out in the lane and finished willingly but failed to gain on the winner while clearly second best. HILL ROAD was allowed to settle on the inside, saved ground on the turn and cut the corner leaving the turn and improved but needed more while besting the rest. PATCH ADAMS was four wide into the first turn and tracked the pace from the outside, shied and got out briefly by the six furlong marker, corrected and continued on the outside and was ridden along and made a mild three wide bid on the far turn and came four wide into the lane but weakened. BRODEUR was three wide into the first turn and prompted the pace, went up to press the issue by the five eighths marker and ridden along two wide on the far turn but tired in the lane. NAUGHTY RASCAL tracked the pace in between rivals and fell back on the far turn and tired. FILOSO was settled three wide early, made a four wide move on the far turn to be in range but tired.
