Footnotes
ACCELERIZE got away alertly and quickly moved clear, gradually shifted in heading up the backstretch while dictating the tempo, continued to set the pace from just off the rail into the turn with rivals in close pursuit, was set down for the drive at the top of the stretch then under vigorous hand-urging, received one mild tap of the crop in upper stretch followed by the rider looking back for competition but finding none, continued to draw away under moderate hand urging followed by just mild riding late. MOMENT'S NOTICE bumped a rival at the start, was guided out off the inside clearing the gap then altered out further just after to race wide near mid-pack, made a sweeping advance outside foes six deep on the turn reaching contention coming past the five-sixteenths but could not sustain the effort and proved no match for the winner. PLAYA DEL MAR settled into stride well back, advanced outside a foe then between runners two to three wide on the turn, improved inside runners in the lane. NIGHT AGENT chased from inside just off the fence, came out a bit leaving the turn, kept on under steady urging but needed more. BRIDOZA came in a bit a few strides out of the gate, was encouraged along chasing from inside initially then off the rail going two to three wide on the turn, was in just a hair tight past the five-sixteenths, was guided out further in upper stretch, failed to threaten late. BATTLE ANTHEM was outpaced early racing off the inside part of the track, kept on evenly to improve position. BOHEMIAN STYLE was bumped at the start, settled in behind stalking outside up the backstretch, advanced in tandem with and inside the runner-up five wide and between foes on the turn reaching striking distance by the mid-point of that bend but could not sustain the effort and flattened out significantly in the drive. WISE UP was bumped at the start then steadied slightly as a rival came in, raced well back saving ground on the turn, was never a threat. FIRST ACT switched out past the gap avoiding rivals inside and in front, chased from off the rail to the turn, saved some ground nearer the rail on that bend, was guided out at the top of the stretch, failed to rally. MADCAP lacked early speed despite encouragement from the start, raced wide at the back and was never near enough to threaten. EL RABANO bobbled into a rival at the start, chased the pace going three wide into the turn and was ridden along by that point, came up empty. WHAT A STEAL chased four wide into the turn but began to retreat past the seven-sixteenths.
