HOLDER CLOSE settled between runners at the rear early, moved out and advanced outside foes steadily and willingly heading into and on the far turn, struck the lead just past the three-sixteenths, moved clear by mid-stretch and held while being kept to the task. PALACE LIGHTS tracked inside a runner in behind and well back of the early leader, edged closer on the far turn racing in behind, found room on the rail at the top of the stretch, made a mild bid for the lead, kept on and got the nod for place. FAR ABOVE was well-placed between runners about mid-pack into the first turn, edged nearer heading into the far turn, waited briefly seeking room in behind foes then abruptly altered out five wide while rapidly advancing on the leaders navigating the seam, loomed a threat in upper stretch, kept on but needed more and missed second. TERRIE T was a bit hard to load, settled off the pace inside, steadily advanced on the far turn now off the rail, angled out a path at the top of the stretch, loomed a threat in behind in upper stretch but lacked the needed late kick. FOREVER AGAIN was caught four to five wide in the early going stalking the pace into the first turn, dropped back losing position into and on the far turn still wide but kept on in the stretch to regain a better placing. A FANCY SOLUTION was caught four to five wide in the early going while mid-pack, dropped back and shifted in, saved ground on the far turn with much to do but improving and kept on to garner a better finishing position. SUNNYRIDGE JAIME stalked from outside a rival two to three wide early, was still within range coming into the far turn going three to four wide on that bend but weakened after. DOWHATEVERITTAKES settled three to four wide early, made a steady advance on the far turn, checked in behind runners coming to the quarter pole, ran on. FORTUNE DREAMS was caught wide in the early going racing at the back and was never a factor. GAMBI set the pace inside but just off the rail, sped clear early up the backstretch, was overtaken at the top of the stretch having come out a bit further turning for home, faltered and faded. FIREDINI was forwardly-positioned early, chased the loose leader up the backstretch, steadily retreated. ALTHENA was always far back, pulled up in the stretch and transported off the track via equine ambulance.
