GREY SHADOW was just lightly brushed at the start, stalked between runners two to three wide in the second flight, edged nearer on the far turn three to four wide, bid in upper stretch taking the lead, moved clear and was kept to the task. SPARTACUS'S DUDE was in a bit of light traffic early, settled outside a foe near mid-division, advanced two to three wide on the far turn, kept on in the stretch to secure the place while no threat to the winner. RED SKY MORNING got away slowly and lacked early speed, swung seven wide while making a swift advance leaving the far turn, was gaining steadily in the stretch but needed a bit more. SECRET POWER settled inside a foe mid-pack on or just off the rail in just a tiny bit of light traffic early, bided time into the far turn waiting again behind runners just briefly, angled out at the three-eighths and was put to urging, advanced rapidly outside five wide, drifted about a bit in the stretch and evened out. MONEYLOVE brushed a rival just lightly then was urged forward at the start, stalked the leader early, took closer order up the backstretch striking the lead at the seven-sixteenths, moved clear, was overtaken in upper stretch then faltered and faded. CITY TIME switched out off the rail early racing well back, came into upper stretch four to five wide, needed more. KING PLUTUS broke a step slowly, raced toward the back three to four wide, failed to menace. ARES KASHI stalked from outside three to four wide, came up empty. LOYAL CLEMENT stalked from inside the second flight racing close up into the far turn, faced momentary traffic in behind the tiring pacesetter at the three-eighths, moved outside that foe and was encouraged along but failed to rally. LITTLE PATITO sped clear early, faltered and faded.
