Footnotes
COPPERLITE was well-placed stalking three wide early, encouraged along midway on the far turn just off the leader, after a prolonged drive edged past in the final sixteenth. SHIVAREE moved clear into the first turn shifting in a bit to set the pace from just off the rail, was challenged by upper stretch, fought on but was only second best. HOLIDAY FANTASY settled in behind tracking on or just off the rail, saved ground both turns, was no match for the top pair but clear of the rest. POST FACTO was in a bit tight early and guided out off the inside, raced in the three to four path early up the backstretch toward the rear, advanced some moving out from four to six wide on the far turn, kept on outside a rival to get the nod for the super. SWEEPING GIANT stalked close up outside four to five wide early, continued in behind near mid-pack three to four deep on the far turn, kept on evenly in the stretch. SILENT AND VIOLENT raced near but off the inside in the early going off the leaders, angled out in the stretch, ran on. SUPREME DOMINANCE was kept wide four to six deep in the early going, advanced from toward the rear to get within range of the leaders into the far turn, faltered in the stretch. STREET GLIDE was in tight along the rail early, raced at the back, swung seven wide into upper stretch, was carried out by a rival soon after, failed to menace.
