RITABOOK chased the early leader from the outside and finished well to edge clear under strong pressure. LADY IN HEELS set a pressured early pace just to the outside of rival two deep, collared nearing the eighth pole and kept on to finish second best. ONE TOUGH DAME dropped back early on, made a three to four wide bit and moved up late to improve position. SYLLABUS settled off the early going, made a two to three wide bid in the stretch and improved position. CALENDULA raced mid pack early, swung wide into the upper stretch and had no late rally. QUEEN OF CHILL shuffled back at the start, chased along the inside and weakened through the drive. MISTY GALE raced four wide near three sixteenths pole and had no response. STARRY HOPE unhurried early, was fanned wide into the upper stretch and never threatened. AUBURN vied near the rail and stopped.
