LAKE CHAPALA stalked from off the rail, moved out further up the backstretch, advanced swiftly three to four wide and outside the leaders drawing even with the leader by the five-sixteenths, was carried out a bit leaving the far turn still engaged in a duel, edged past through deep stretch to prevail. SULION moved forward between runners to contest the early pace then dueled inside a foe but off the fence up the backstretch and into the far turn, put away that one but was joined by another rival who drew even coming past the five-sixteenths, dueled on even terms and fought on gamely but was outkicked. FROZEN FOUR settled off the pace near the inside, moved out midway on the far turn, fanned six to seven wide turning for home advancing on the leaders, continued to run on steadily in the lane and just missed second. LATIN FORCE settled outside, advanced in tandem with and outside a rival on the far turn, was forced out seven to eight deep by that rival turning for home, evened out in the lane. MUCHOMACHOMAC broke just a bit awkwardly, settled at the back inside, moved out early on the far turn while advancing past runners about three wide then back nearer the inside later on that bend, evened out in the lane. DOMINATOR C. got away alertly, was inside the leaders entering the first turn and taken back off that position acting a bit headstrong pulling against the rider's restraint, tracked from inside, failed to rally. FIRE BARON settled outside a runner off the pace and failed to menace. KADAR INDY moved forward outside, pressed the forced the pace three wide up the backstretch, began to drop back past the three-eighths pole and came up empty. TIZART hopped at the start, was coaxed forward, pursued from outside three wide in the second flight early, steadily dropped back shifting in a bit and faded.
