Footnotes
WHIRLWIND tucked in two to three wide mid-pack entering the first turn to track in behind, made a way between runners up the backstretch then moved out and made a rapid advance outside four to five wide to take the lead past the quarter pole, promptly drew away when asked and then held safe without much urging late. MONEY TRAIL appeared to lightly brush the gate, was unhurried thereafter, advanced outside foes four to five wide on the far turn, angled eight deep at the top of the stretch, rallied to gain the place outside. CENTEYA was forwardly-positioned four wide in the early going, eased back and tucked in on the first turn racing mid-pack and settling, swung out six wide turning for home, finished well but missed second. POWER PARTY was well-placed stalking in behind two to three wide early, was asked for more passing the quarter pole, swung out five wide turning into upper stretch, kept on to secure the minor award. COME A WALTZING was unhurried at the back racing off the inside, swung eight wide into upper stretch and had mild late effort. NEW WAY settled toward the rear shifting in and saving ground, advanced some into upper stretch now off the rail, altered out further in mid-stretch and ran on but failed to threaten. SIP'N' SPEED tracked in behind inside, saved ground throughout, weakened. SO MUCH JAZZ quickly moved clear, set the pace just off the rail, was just headed on the far turn about the five-sixteenths, fought on till upper stretch then gave way. FULL EXCHANGE altered out leaving the first turn seeking room, advanced outside foes five then four wide into the far turn, bid for the lead drawing even or a short head in front at the five-sixteenths but could not sustain the effort and faltered at the top of the stretch. MY FINE AQUILINE was two to three wide toward the rear early, moved out a bit for the second turn still racing well back, was not a factor. JOJO'S GONE was forwardly-placed chasing three to four wide early, steadily retreated between foes. GOGO BOOTS was a bit fractious in the gate, raced toward the back mostly two to four wide, was not a factor.
