Footnotes
MO'S VINO MESA exchanged minor contact at the start, settled mid-pack off the inside, entered the turn in the four path, was encouraged along leaving that bend, swung eight deep into upper stretch, kept on in the lane and surged past late. AWESOME EMPRESS had light brushing at the start, was forwardly-positioned staking the pacesetter while kept wide, edged closer willingly coming into the turn racing in the three to four path, challenged for the lead later on that bend, floated six deep and in command coming into upper stretch, was outfinished. JUST MERCY stalked not too far off the leaders from the three to four path into the turn, was given encouragement midway on that bend, had room between runners in the stretch, loomed a threat but was outkicked. HEAVENS EXPRESS lacked speed outside at the rear, was encouraged along late up the backstretch, went about three to four wide on the turn, kept on in the stretch but needed more. COMMANDERS PALACE quickly moved clear, set the pace inside, was challenged late on the turn, asked for more at the top of the stretch but had no late response and came up empty. LADYS CHANT chased from inside while ridden along early, came off the rail turning into upper stretch, faded. CHANGE ORDER moved out off the rail in the early going racing at the back, was never near enough to threaten.
