TAKESCHARGESMILING quick to begin to set the early pace and held gamely to be clear late under steady handling. BAR DOWN EXPRESS tracked the early leader two deep, kept on and finished second best. GET EVEN stalked the pace, made a good rail around the far turn through the stretch but had not enough for the top pair. NO ANGEL stalked the pace, raced three to four wide between through the far turn and was even with no late gain. CALL ME ICE MAN chased from the outside, raced four wide around the far turn and needed more in the drive. UNDALAY dropped back to race mid pack early on, raced two to three wide in the drive and lacked a rally. GRIMES dropped back early, had an inside run throughout and no late response. OLD TOWN ROAD was off slowly, raced near the back early, fanned wide into the upper stretch and never threatened. DR. PERRY was off slowly, raced six wide into the upper lane and never threatened. BIG FIG angled in down the backstretch, raced from the inside into the upper stretch and lacked a bid.
