NOUVEAU RICHE stalked into the turn, advanced willingly on that bend from three furlongs out moving three then four wide, floated a bit wider into upper stretch with aim on the leader, took over just about at the eighth pole, moved clear and held. HUGE G stalked from off the leaders, advanced four to five wide on the turn, fanned out six to seven deep turning for home, fought on outside rivals to secure the place while no threat to the winner. JAANTJE was urged forward after the start advancing between runners, forced the pace from outside, moved in a bit when taking the lead past the sevens-sixteenths, led them around the turn about three deep, weakened in the stretch after being headed at the furlong marker but kept on well enough to hold in a head-bobbing finish for show. PIZZICATO was up close tracking inside, came out five to six wide in upper stretch, rallied some but was outkicked between runners late. FINAL NOTE was quick to lead, shifted in and set the pace from inside just off the fence, was pressured heading into the turn and overtaken beginning that bend, chased in behind up close, ran on evenly in the stretch. BAJA DE ORO settled well back, fanned eight wide into upper stretch, kicked on mildly. CLARAMENTE lacked early speed despite some mild encouragement, swung six to seven wide turning for home and improved position. CALABASH COVE steadily dropped back early lacking any substantive speed, saved ground near the inside on the turn, was never near enough to threaten. TOUGH DAME chased from outside early, was about mid-pack five to six deep on the turn, failed to threaten. COSMIC SYMPHONY shifted in early lacking speed and racing at the back, saved some ground early on the turn, angled six to seven wide leaving that bend, failed to rally. BURNING STAR pressed briefly from between runners, dropped back and faded.
