Footnotes
EXPLOSIVE EXCHANGE was well-placed stalking outside just off the leader, went three to four wide on the turn advancing willingly from the five-sixteenths, took the lead past the quarter pole, drew clear. OSCAR GAZE tracked in behind two to three deep just off the lead, angled six wide leaving the turn, was no match for the winner but secure the place. FOXY LADY set the pace in the clear racing off the rail, lacked the needed late kick. VIKING QUEEN was encouraged along soon after the start and advanced outside four to five wide on the turn reaching striking distance and then under stouter urging coming to the quarter pole, came into upper stretch seven wide and flattened out. BOOTSY'S MERLOT chased from inside, saved ground through much of the turn advancing some, shifted out late on that bend coming to the top of the stretch five wide, evened out in the stretch. AFTER A FEW lacked early speed, made up ground mildly advancing outside four to five wide into and early on the turn, came out eight deep for the drive, needed more. WOODS HOLE chased from inside, weakened. BULLET ON TAP chased three to four wide into and on the turn, fanned eight deep turning for home, faded.
