HYMN OF HEAVEN bumped a rival at the start, settled off the leaders three wide on the first turn, advanced early up the backstretch pressing the leader, took the lead by the quarter pole, was engaged by an outside foe in late stretch, was bumped by that one but held. GRAND LIAM bumped a rival lightly at the start, was taken up in the early going in tight on heels, settled into stride switching out off the inside, advanced three to four wide late up the backstretch and into the far turn, sought room on that bend, angled six wide coming to the top of the stretch, lugged in and bumped a rival in the vicinity of the eighth pole, engaged the leader to duel outside that one, bumped that foe late and was held off. WINGS OF GOD gained forward position early, shifted in on the first turn, saved some ground, moved closer tracking in behind, sought room late on the far turn, came out four wide in upper stretch, was bumped and steadied near the eighth pole, was best of the rest. ITS JUST MATH settled outside foes about mid-pack, was mostly two to four wide throughout, ran on evenly. LUCKY TWIST sped clear to set the pace from off the rail, was soon joined and pressured up the backstretch, overtaken late on the far turn, weakened in the stretch. JUST BUU shifted in early, tracked mid-pack, saved ground both turns, swung four wide turning for home, failed to rally. NORA'S FIREBALL was lightly bumped at the start, settled off the pace near but off the rail, was never near enough to threaten. STEAM POWERED was in tight and steadied shortly after the start, made a mild early advance to nearly mid-pack two to three wide up the backstretch, faded thereafter. EL RABANO was lightly bumped at the start, appeared to be getting out a bit on the first turn floating out six wide or so on that bend, had forward position stalking outside the second flight three to four deep into the far turn, came up empty. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY AS WELL AS AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF WINGS OF GOD AGAINST GRAND LIAM ALLEGING INTERFERENCE, THE LATTER WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND AND PLACED THIRD BEHIND THE FORMER.
