Footnotes
COASTAL RIVER was allowed to settle along the inside, continued to save ground on the far turn, angled off the inside nearing the furlong marker and advanced, then encountered traffic and angled back in to split rivals leaving the sixteenth marker and surged late to get up in time to prove best under a drive. ICONIC ROCK stalked the pace three wide and made a three wide bid leaving the turn to gain the lead in led late but was denied. MYWIFEHASAGUN was five wide into the first turn and settled on the outside, continued outside pursuit down the backstretch, moved in to chased the leaders three to two wide while being ridden along on the far turn, came two wide off the bend and moved to the rail leaving the furlong marker and rallied but needed more late. RIGHT ON TARGET was four wide into the first turn and chased the pace four wide, came five wide into the lane and ran on willingly to just miss the show award. SNOVEMBER bumped at the break, settled between rivals on the first turn, ridden along four wide on the far turn and came seven wide into the lane and had a mild late kick. TWO STORMY OCEANS set the pace while unchallenged in the two path and came two to three wide off the bend and but weakened in the final furlong. BIVOL was settled back early, two to three wide on the far turn and was not a factor. AIR FORCE ROYALTY tracked the pace from the inside and cut the corner leaving the turn then was in a bit tight leaving the furlong marker but was empty. RAPID ROY was off a step slow, reserved early, saved ground on the far turn and had no response. Rider on number four claimed foul against the number nine for alleged interference around the furlong marker, after the stewards reviewed the replays the objection was disallowed and the race left as is.
