Footnotes
SHADOW FACTOR vied for the lead on the inside, made a bid leaving the turn two wide to shake clear, then was put to crop urging and held sway to prove best. EL TINMARIN broke out sharply and slammed RIDING A DREAM pushing that rival into TROOPS at the break, then was corrected and advanced in the three to two path, came in and cut RIDING A DREAM off by the five furlong marker, settled two wide on the turn, moved to the inside and made a rail rally but could not get to the winner, second best. TROOPS was bumped soundly at the break, settled and made a four wide move on the turn and came five wide into the lane, kept on willingly but needed more late. SPEIGHT THE SNOW was settled early on the outside, five wide on the turn and swung out six wide leaving the turn and rallied on the outside. FULLY AUTHORIZED vied for the lead in between rivals and came three wide off the bend and faded in the final furlong. DEPORTIVO vied for the lead on the outside, three wide on the turn and came four wide into the lane and weakened in the final furlong. RIDING A DREAM was slammed at the break and carried out into another rival, then moved to the inside and was cut off and had to check by the five furlong peg, eased out on the turn and advanced and came four wide into the lane but came up empty, brutal trip. Stewards Inquiry and Jockeys Objection the number two versus the number one, after stewards reviewed the replays they allowed the objection and disqualified the number one EL TINMARIN from second and placed last for interference at the start and the five furlong marker.
