OSKAR MARTINEZ (IRE) rated close up two wide, bid on the far turn, responded when roused, gained a short lead, dug in gamely in the final furlong and prevailed determinedly. TORO FORWARD set the pace on the inside, dueled with the winner on the far turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the stretch run and continued willingly to the finish. PEACE NOT WAR pulled while two wide on the first turn, stalked between rivals, tracked near the inside on the far turn, angled out at the top of the lane, rallied in the three path and closed late. SAM STORMY pulled in the early stages on the inside, raced off the pace inside, between rivals at the quarter pole and rallied mildly inside. MAGIC HEART raced two wide off the pace, then three wide, continued three wide on the far turn, rallied four wide in the lane and was outkicked. BENVOLIO was off a bit slow, raced off the pace inside, three wide on the far turn, came five wide into the lane and failed to threaten. MINTENON raced three wide on the clubhouse turn, then four wide on the backside, chased between horses on the far turn and tired. OVERHAUL raced four wide early, settled off the pace, went three wide on the far turn and tired. TALKSCHEAP tracked on the inside, chased inside on the far turn and faded. TAPINTOYOURBEER raced two wide off the pace, between foes on the far turn and did not factor.
