SPARKLING RUBY exchanged a light bump at the start, shifted in early saving ground on the first turn, moved out early up the backstretch and advanced between runners, moved out four to five wide commencing a bid leaving the far turn, took the lead and forged clear under steady handling. MIA VITA stalked just off the pacesetter from outside, advanced willingly on the far turn, bid between runners at the top of the stretch, was no match for the winner but saved the place. CLASSICALS FINALE was unhurried at the back, advanced willingly inside, swung out six deep coming into upper stretch, gained mildly outside late but missed second. KANJENG was a bit rank inside early in behind the leader, finally settled down tracking in behind not too far back, angled five wide turning for home, needed more. ALIEN PRINCESS exchanged a bump at the start, was coaxed to the lead, set the pace, was challenged turning for home, gave way a furlong out. O K TO DANCE was between runners early, raced up close three to four deep up the backstretch and far turn, came up empty. STEP LIGHTLY chased from outside mid-pack, was mostly four to five wide, had no late bid.
