SECRET VICTORY was rated along two wide, made a three wide bid nearing the quarter pole, put to a long drive and edged clear late to prove best. FRENCH BENEFITS (FR) set the pace and drew out and moved to the inside on the backstretch, headed by the quarter pole, came two to three wide off the bend, between rivals by the furlong marker and kept on gamely but was out-kicked by the winner. ACT VIOLENTLY was settled on the inside, moved out to the two path and steadied slightly by the three eighths marker, advanced two wide and then cut the corner leaving the turn to make a bid and go on even terms for command but hung in the final sixteenth. TAP BONNET was allowed to settle early, two to three path on the far turn, angled out by the three sixteenths and had a mild late gain. WILLFUL ROSE moved to the inside into the first turn when others were getting out, saved ground on the backstretch and advanced two to three wide on the far turn, angled in leaving the turn and had a belated rally. PRINCESS HONOR was well placed early on the inside, chased the leader on the backstretch, fell back on the turn and weakened. DREAMING OF NANA was carried out into the first turn, advanced on the outside nearing the half mile marker, made a four wide move to loom by the quarter pole, came five wide into the lane and weakened. WILLING TO TRY was rank on the inside, got out into the first turn, then remained a bit rank to the five furlong marker and failed to menace. CHICA CATHOLIC was a bit rank and then checked and carried out into the first turn, remained rank and hard to handle on to the backstretch and to the outside and was not a threat. BIBLICAL STRENGTH was void of speed and had a dull effort.
