Footnotes
UNCAPTURED BOY had a slight bobble shortly after the start, set the pace on the inside and drew clear by the quarter pole, came three wide off the bend and was roused by the furlong marker and again by the sixteenth marker and then coasted in the final hundred yards to prove best while maintaining a measured margin to the wire. FUNKENSTEIN was five wide into the first turn, settled early towards the outside, four to five wide on the far turn and came six wide into the lane and closed well late gaining the place award. SARGEANT BARGER was four wide into the first turn, then went up to prompt the pace three to two wide, chased the winner off the bend and moved to the inside, kept on willingly but lost the place award late. HE'S A GOOD DANCER chased the pace three to four wide and came five wide into the lane and had a mild late kick. JOE'S HAD ENOUGH was reserved on the inside, advanced two wide by the quarter pole but needed more late. MEAN TWEETS was settled back early and on the far outside on the backstretch, five to six path on the far turn and came seven wide into the lane and had no rally. H C HOLIDAY was settled early on the inside, moved out on the backstretch and was two to three wide on the turn and had no rally. GALACTIC EMPIRE was settled back early, 4-5p turn, came seven wide into the lane and was not a threat. BLAME BISHOP was well placed on the inside and tired.
