DIXIE ON FIRE led the way on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path, swung a bit wider into the lane and held clear to the finish. SIMO AT THE BIG A bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the three path and kept on in the lane. ANDERMAN bumped with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, raced off the pace early, came around the turn in the three path, began a bid entering the stretch and improved position from there. FRATELLONE bumped with the horse to his inside at the break, recovered to stalk the leader on the outside through the opening quarter, continued around the turn in the three path and weakened in the stretch. ASTRIDSHADOWMOON raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and was empty in the lane. WORLD WIDE WEB raced at the back of the pack through the opening stages, navigated the turn from the four path and made no bid. EL CAPRICHOSO bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, trailed the field throughout, saved ground around the turn and was never a factor.
