DIOSA CATRINA was bumped slightly at the break, tracked the leaders three wide, made a three wide bid nearing the quarter pole to gain a short lead, then was clear off the turn and drew off after one pop left handed with the crop and was ridden out to prove much the best. RUXTON ROCKS was off a step slow, five wide into the first turn and then moved in to be settled while trailing, made a four wide advance on the far turn and came five wide into the lane and rallied well for the place award. LADY DOMINANCE was pinched back at the break, chased the slow early pace from between rivals on the first turn, then was two wide on the far turn and moved to the inside leaving the turn and to make a inside bid but proved to be no match for the winner while being outfinished for the place award. CALENDULA broke outwardly and then showed good early speed into the first turn, moved out and threw head by the seven furlong marker and went up to press the leader two wide on the first turn, then settled entering the backstretch and went up to vie for command by the half mile marker, continued on the far turn and then was engaged to her outside by rivals and came two wide into the lane and weakened. BOOTSY'S MERLOT was rated along three wide, advanced three wide on the far turn and made a five wide bid leaving the turn but failed to suatain that bid and weakened. ABBY THE BULL DAWG was five wide into the first turn, rated on the outside and made a four wide move by the quarter pole but weakened in the lane. LA BRODY tracked the pacd on the inside and tired. SET THE PACE set a pressured pace and then vied for the lead on the inside and gave way midway on the far turn.
