GLOBAL GIANT trailed the field through the opening stages, began a bold bid from the four path coming around the turn, dueled in the lane and edged clear late. EMIRATES HONOR bumped lightly with the horse to his outside at the break, tracked the leader through the early going, came around the bend in the three path and chased on to the finish. FIT TO FIRE bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, recovered to lead the way up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and was caught in the final furlong. WEEK'S STRONG bumped mildly with the horses to either side at the start, raced at the back of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and made up some ground in the stretch while never threatening the top three. SPURIOUS raced off the pace through the opening quarter, swung out to the four path coming around the bend and made no bid. AMAURY M. V. P. chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and tired in the lane.
