SHABAM set the pace under pressure along the inside, cleared on the backstretch, remained unchallenged through the far turn, opened up when asked right handed at the top of the lane, was ridden out to the sixteenth and in hand approaching the wire. FABULOUS CANDY tracked four deep into the first turn then angled to the inside around the bend, moved closer in the middle stages, tipped out on the far turn and took aim three wide turning for home, drifted to the inside through the lane and was no match for the winner while clearly second best. JENAS MERCY stalked in the five then four path early, three deep up the backstretch, chased three, two, then four wide on the second bend and weakened. VIKING QUEEN raced up close six deep then moved into the five path, settled off the pace, rounded the far turn in the four path and failed to menace. BULLET ON TAP also raced up close three deep into the first turn then took a stalking position to the outside of the top pair., chased between foes then suffered a mild shuffle behind CINDY'S SONG in the middle stages, traveled three then two wide around the second bend and lacked a rally. CINDY'S SONG forced the pace from outside, lost contact with the leader while coaxing along on the backstretch, dropped back on the far turn and tired down the lane.
