KEEN SURGE was off a bit slow from the far outside, sat off the pace in the two path, advanced 4deep on the second bend, closed into the final furlong, ducked in then back out near the sixteenth pole and got up in the final moments. AMERICAN WIND took control early and moved inside, felt some early pressure then cleared around the first turn, took pressure from rivals late on the backstretch, kicked clear once more around the far turn, corned nicely into the lane, padded the lead in upper stretch, led well clear into deep stretch but got run down by the winner. BLUE SKY'S SYL broke a step slow, traveled three then two wide around the first turn, moved into range on the backstretch, chased four wide into the second bend, angled down to the two path then spun three wide into the lane, showed a mild response to move into the third and had to steady behind an erratic KEEN SURGE in deep stretch. OCEAN SOUL pressed from outside early then stalked in the two path around the clubhouse turn, was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, put in a mild bid at the seven-sixteenths pole, failed to keep up with the leader, got crowded along the rail midway around the bend, kept on down the lane and rounded out the superfecta. MUCHOMACHOMAC trailed in the two path into the clubhouse turn then went outside a rival, made a middle move outside rivals up the backstretch, chased three then two wide around the far turn and weakened. DOMINATOR C. tracked between rivals or in the two path, got shuffled back around the far turn and could not rally. NOBLE HERO broke a step slow, tracked from off the rail, drew closer four deep on the backstretch, bid three deep approaching the far turn, could not sustain the challenge and angled to the rail chasing around the far turn, then flattened out in the stretch. KADAR INDY reserved early along the inside, moved into range on the backstretch, chased three deep between foes into the far turn, lost ground and spun four wide into the stretch and came up empty in the drive. STOW ON THE WOLD stalked the pace along the fence, got crowded and shuffled back on the far turn and faded in the lane. VITTORIANO traveled along the inside near the back, trailed up the backstretch, continued at the rear around the far turn, eased in the lane and walked off.
