PERKY bumped leaving the gate, tucked inside at the back of the pack, picked up the stride in the middle stages while moving off the fence, angled out around the bend, swung five wide into the lane, challenged in upper stretch, dueled with NOTABLE EXCHANGE and disposed of that rival in deep stretch. NOTABLE EXCHANGE broke out and bumped, tracked three deep then moved into the two path, challenged between rivals at the seven-sixteenths pole, dueled outside a rival on the far turn, carried a short lead entering the lane, put away inner rival in upper stretch but was soon confronted from the outside, resisted to midstretch, then yielded to the winner in the last sixteenth. SPARKLING RUBY sat off the pace along the fence, moved up close in the middle stages, got boxed in around the far turn, chased two wide into the lane, moved out in upper stretch and was let loose but lacked the needed late kick in the final furlong. LADY EMBRACE established the front from inside, took pressure leaving the backstretch, dueled around the far turn, lost command approaching the stretch, yielded to the new leader and weakened in the final furlong. MISS RUMMIKUB (FR) got bumped on both sides and crowded at the start, pulled early along the inside stalking the pacesetter, moved out and bid three deep at the seven-sixteenths pole, chased the top pair three wide around the bend, drifted a bit into the lane and weakened. PRAYED FOR GIRL stalked four deep early then moved into the two path for the clubhouse turn, got shuffled behind a weakening rival at the half-mile pole, angled to the inside, saved ground to the stretch and failed to menace. MS KENDRICK B. stalked in the two path, dropped back in the middle stages, trailed into the lane, eased and walked off.
