VESPER CHICKS pressed the pace then dueled from outside, carried a short lead into the stretch, put away inner rival with a furlong remaining and padded the margin. CON CAUTELA brushed leaving the gate, chased from off the rail then moved up close behind the leader while angling to the inside, followed from the fence through the turn, moved out a bit in the lane and gained second. RED HOT CATALINA got shuffled back by CON CAUTELA early, navigated the turn three then four wide and showed a mild response down the lane to earn the show honors. ADJUST MY HALO set the tone early under pressure from VESPER CHICKS, dueled with that rival around the bend, could not kick on with the winner in the furlong grounds and flattened to fourth in deep stretch. LIZZY'S DREAM trailed from out wide early then moved into the three path for the turn, shifted to the four path then angled down to the rail around the bend, moved out in the lane and passed tired rivals. AWESOME SUNSHINE chased from outside, bid four deep at the seven-sixteenths pole, could not keep with the leaders at the five-sixteenths pole, chased three deep into the lane and weakened. CAMEO broke a step slow and brushed with outer rival, brushed up between rivals, chased two wide around the turn and faded. INSTABRAT traveled along the inside at the back early then moved into striking distance, fell out of range on the turn while easing out to the three path and had little left for the stretch run. CHRIS'S KITTY raced up close outside the top pair in hand early, vied for command early on the turn, could not keep up midway around the bend and retreated.
