Footnotes
CHANDIGARH got bumped on both sides in the beginning, settled inside off the pace, exited the backstretch in the two path, gained while angling four wide on the far turn, drifted in upper stretch, reeled in the leader in deep stretch and got up in the closing moments. VIRAGE broke in and bumped CHANDIGARH at the start, stalked two to three wide on the first turn outside a rival, launched a bid three deep then drew on even terms with the leader at the quarter pole, took over shortly after, emerged clear at the top of the lane, showed the way into the last sixteenth and got nailed by the winner. WONDERFINN bumped leaving the gate, tracked in the two path, tipped three wide around the far turn, got floated in a bit by the winner in upper stretch and kept on for a clear third. TAKE THE GOLD stalked the pacesetter next to the fence, coaxed along with three furlongs remaining but lacked room behind the leader on the far turn and was forced to pause, elected to the stay on the inside and lacked room to advance once again in upper stretch, tipped out into the clear and churned on for a minor award. SEBASTIANTHE FIRST bumped with inner rival at the start then was sent to the front and showed the way in the two path then found the rail on the clubhouse turn, controlled the pace up the backstretch, collared by VIRAGE on the far turn, relinquished the lead past the quarter pole and gave way. TAPSTICK chased three deep then moved up keenly outside the leader first time in the stretch, took a stalking position three then two wide around the first turn, remained close up the backstretch, started to weaken between rivals on the far turn and faded in the lane. WHERE'S JACK bumped with outer rival at the start, trailed in the two path around the clubhouse turn, moved inside on the backstretch and was never a factor.
