MIDNIGHT ONYX stalked from inside then in the two path, drew alongside the leader at the half-mile pole, dueled from outside under confident handling on the far turn, drew clear late on the bend, then drew away when called upon and remained strong to the wire. CUCUY tracked from inside, followed between rivals on the backstretch, roused at the quarter pole, tipped out into the lane, moved back in upper stretch, could not threaten the winner in the furlong grounds but was clearly second best. CENTERFOLD GUY unhurried from inside, trailed off the rail into the far turn, went two wide into the lane, drifted back to the inside at the eighth pole and gained third. ETERNAL GLORY bumped early, checked off heels into the first turn, raced in range in the three path, continued three deep into the far turn, got floated out into the stretch and was outkicked for the show. RAGING WHIRLWIND unhurried two wide then along the rail, drew closer in the middle stages, angled six wide around the far turn and failed to threaten. COASTAL RIVER got sandwiched between rivals early, laid off the pace three then four wide, dropped back to last on the far turn, left that bend three wide and passed rivals down the lane. COLORS cleared and crossed over, fought briefly for command then became rank and moved into a stalking position, asked right handed around the far turn, lacked room behind a rival approaching the stretch and could not rally. MAMA BANNED ME traveled outside a rival at the back on the first turn, angled out on the second bend and came seven wide into the stretch but had little left for the drive. JOSH'S DRAMA bumped early, chased outside rivals into the first turn then went up to take over around the bend and moved down to the two path, cleared inner rival, took pressure at the half-mile pole, dueled around the second bend, could not go on with the new leader approaching the stretch and tired.
