LITTLE MARTHA was closest in pursuit from the two path early on, drew alongside the pacesetter with three furlongs remaining, put a head in front past the quarter pole, drifted out into the lane, carried the lead outside rivals into the final furlong and drove clear from RUNWAY LIGHTS in deep stretch. CLASSY DISPOSITION traveled three deep early, got floated out into the first turn, angled back in some, went two wide into the second bend, steered out and came four wide into the drive, closed well under right then left handed encouragement and got up for second three deep on the line. SUMMER FLOWER checked off heels along the inside into the clubhouse turn, traveled in mid-pack after, crept closer up the backstretch, roused two wide between rivals, finished well between foes late and missed second. RUNWAY LIGHTS stalked in the two path, challenged in the two path turning for home but could not produce the needed late kick in deep stretch. LADY LALA broke out and bumped, pulled early and drifted out into the first turn, moved back inside chasing from off the pace, moved out and drew closer up the backstretch, chased three deep on the far turn and failed to rally. C. S. VIVACE unhurried in the beginning, got floated out into the first turn, went three deep into the second bend, came four wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. RED WREN settled outside rivals, moved inside for the far turn, asked around the bend, entered the lane in the two path and failed to menace. PLAY MISTY (IRE) showed the way early from inside, challenged at the three-eighths pole, dueled around the far turn, lost command past the quarter pole, fought to upper stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. MAMA DRAMA got bumped from inside at the start, stalked from inside, lost positions around the far turn and weakened. FAR ABOVE threw her head then hit the gate before breaking outward, trailed on the inside to the stretch and failed to make an impact. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REGARDING THE START OF FAR ABOVE AND RULED THAT SHE CAUSED HER OWN PROBLEMS LEAVING THE GATE AND IS CONSIDERED A STARTER.
