WHIRLWIND was bumped at the break, settled early and had an outside pursuit on the backstretch, advanced four deep on the turn and came five wide into the lane, made a bid and gained a short lead late and then held the fast closing LIZZIE BABY off on the wire to prove best. LIZZIE BABY was hard held early on the inside to reserved, eased out on the far turn and came widest into the lane, closed well on the far outside to just miss. MIA VITA set a pressured pace on the inside and came two wide off the bend and came in nearing the furlong marker causing a rival to clip heels and fought on but was outfinished. CLASSICALS FINALE was settled three wide, dropped to the two path entering the far turn and moved out midway on the turn and came six wide into the lane and rallied well. FLORIDA FLOWER pressed the pace and made a three wide bid to go on ever terms leaving the turn, fought on gamely but faded late. SECRET VICTORY broke in and bumped a rival at the start, then stalked the pace on the outside, made a three wide bid nearing the quarter pole, came four wide into the lane and weakened in the final furlong. DAS IST ALLES ALLY was reserved three wide into the first turn, angled in by the five eighths marker, made a inside middle move to be in range while on the rail entering the far turn, cut the corner leaving the turn and then was blocked nearing the furlong marker and was eased in the final furlong, walked off. HIDDEN RECIPE tracked the pace three to two wide, came two wide into the lane and was in traffic, clipped heels nearing the furlong marker and lost the rider, walked off. STEWARDS INQUIRY concerning the stretch run, after reviewing the replays the number one MIA VITA was disqualified from third and placed last for interference around the furlong marker.
