Footnotes
TONY B rated along near the inside, surged between rivals two deep near the quarter pole and held safe late under strong handling. RUIZ JUNIOR showed good early speed from the inside, dug in deep stretch and gave way to the winner grudgingly. MY LITTLE CAIBO settled off the early going, moved up from the inside around the far tur into the upper stretch and closed in gamely in the final stages. ROJO SKY tracked the early leader from the inside, came out near the five sixteenths pole, causing C'Mon Juan to take up, a stewards inquiry was filed and deemed Rojo Sky be disqualified and placed seventh for interference. AMOR GITANO was allowed to settle early on, raced four wide near the quarter pole, was six deep into the upper stretch and raced even late with no late bid. DON ELADIO stalked the pace outside of rivals, bumped near the five sixteenths pole, raced four wide into the upper stretch and weakened a bit through the drive. C'MON JUAN stalked the pace, forced to take up near the five sixteenths pole and faded thereafter. MOR HEART lag early on to race far back, saved ground and never menaced. YADIRAYADIRAYADIRA stalked the pace from the outside of rivals and tired readily to race far back. RAY'S BLUE WAGON broke through gate pre-race, jogged off a short distance before being reloaded, up close outside, bore out near the five sixteenths pole, was pulled up and walked off the track under his own power.
