Footnotes
PEACE CLOUD pursued from midpack in the four to five path, ranged up in the four path to bid outside of the top pair around teh far turn, assumed command nearing the lane and drew off under a mild drive. KING FREUD stalked along the inside, moved to the three path approaching the five furlong pole, bid outside of the leader and along with an outer rival around the far turn, but got outkicked turning for home, kept on to spar for place through midstretch and edged that position. STONE COLD FLEX bumped with an outer foe after the start, raced off of the pace in the five path, tucked to the two path around the far turn before swinging back to the five path in upper stretch, and stayed on willingly to reach show at the wire. ARTWELL showed the way in the two path, met a pair of outer challenges around the far turn, proved no match for his widest challenger turning for home, dug in for place in upper stretch but yielded in the final sixteenth and lost show at the wire. PERFORMANCE PLUS stalked in the three to four path and gave way around the far turn. BOURBON STATE broke a step slow and took back at the start, lacked speed along the inside and failed to factor. NO MANCHES saved ground off of the pace and tired. FEDERAL EXCHANGE bumped with an inner rival soon after the start, tracked in the three path then weakened between horses entering the far turn. PAPA KATZ got rank and uncontrollable after leaving the gate, quickly became detached from the rest then lagged behind throughout.
